Make Sure Your Pooch Stays Away From the Mistletoe!

mistletoe.jpg

If you insist on having mistletoe at your holiday party this year, make sure to hang it up high enough so your dog can’t get to it.Turns out mistletoe is really, really bad for dogs and if they eat large quantities of it, it can cause drops in blood pressure and heart rate, excessive thirst and urination, seizures and even death.

If your dog eats just a small amount of mistletoe, it’ll most likely just cause a stomach ache.

So keep the stuff out of paw’s reach…better yet, just keep the mistletoe in the realm of bad movie cliches.

Thanks for the info, ASPCA!
