Holiday Dog Treats: Taking Holiday Baking to Another Level

I love using my dessert-making abilities during the holidays to make ridiculous amounts of junk food.

I’ve found that making all these sweets at the same time and eating them nonstop makes me not want sweets for eleven months out of the year–The Holiday Binge Diet: Coming soon to a bookstore near you.

Since the dogs already spend a great deal of time begging at my feet while I’m in the kitchen anyway, I though I’d actually give them the surprise of their lives by actually baking something JUST for them.

I have a dog biscuits recipe book that I’ve been wanting to use more often. There’s a recipe in there for peanut butter cookies. I’ll be making them this weekend, using the included cookie cutters for my own amusement of course (“Haha! Casper’s eating a peanut butter fire hydrant!”).

If they like the cookies, I’ll post up the recipe later this week.
