Oregon Capitol Says No Dogs Allowed at Statehouse
It’s amazing what tens of millions of dollars worth of redecorating can do to a pet policy.
Starting in January, dogs will no longer be allowed at the statehouse in Salem, Oregon.
The reason: Lawmakers want to maintain a more professional atmosphere, and, of course, protect that $34 million renovation investment–including new couches and carpet.
Service dogs would still be allowed in the building, however.
