Monday’s Adoptable Dog: Sylus From Greenhill Humane Society!

By Dustin

Do you like other dogs? I seem to really enjoy the company of other dogs.

What do you think about cats? I have a great history with cats but I am a big goofball and should meet them slowly.

So how do you do with kids? I love everyone but sometimes I don’t realize how big I am and I could easily knock someone down! I would love to live with sturdy kiddos over 10 years.

How do you feel about walking on a leash? I am strong! I need some training. How would you describe your energy level? Medium to high.

What are some of your favorite hobbies? I love to play and be with people. I am a really nice and well behaved dog. How much do you weigh? 70 pounds.

What qualities are you looking for in a human? I am looking for that special family that wants a wonderful boy to add to their family. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, and more!

ADOPTION INFORMATION: Please note that in order to make the best match possible, potential adopters must come to Greenhill in person to meet with an animal, as well as kennel staff, to complete the adoption process. All members of the household (including other dogs) should be present to ensure the chosen dog is compatible with everyone.

-I have lived with cats and other dogs.
-I am very friendly with children! Bring your kids down to meet me today to be sure we will be a good match.
-Unfortunately I have always been mostly an outdoor dog but I have always really wanted to be an indoor family dog. I never really learned indoor housetraining so I will need a consistent potty schedule and maybe a doggie door in my future home!
-I am somewhat familiar with crate training and using a doggie door, I may just need a little brush up.
-I am every bit of labrador retriever! I love to chase a tennis ball and I am the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet.

Monday’s Adoptable Dog: Jonas From Greenhill Humane Society!

By Dustin

Jonas is an amazingly sweet adolescent dog that is still trying to figure out his place in the world. He is a little timid in new situations, but once he knows you he will come bounding in delight when he hears your voice.

He is an absolute snuggler and he really enjoys crawling into your lap and just watching the world go by. Jonas would make a great companion for a family that wants a loving, sweet, gentle friend to be with them as much as possible. Jonas came to the shelter missing most of his fur because of a case of demodex and is currently being treated for it. He is available to go home and his new family will need to continue medicating him. His hair has been growing back and he gets cuter by the day!

This pudgy little pup will surely worm his way into your heart. Dogs: Little timid at first but he does well. Cats: Gets a little excited at times, but he would probably do okay meeting experienced cats slowly.

Kids: 6+ My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, and more!

Dude, Why Is Sally NOT IN YOUR HOUSE Right Now?! (Up For Adoption At Greenhill Humane Society!)

By Dustin

I came from an overcrowded shelter in California. I was transferred here so that Greenhill could give me a second chance, so that I could be adopted and find my forever home! Because I was transferred here as a stray, my history is unknown. This means the kennel staff does not know how I will do with cats, children, or other dogs. Each dog is different and the staff will be able to give you more information on each dog if you come in to visit. I should live in a home where introductions to new people and situations are taken slowly and carefully. I may not be housebroken.

The kennel staff will give you more information on how to help me with this. I’ll need regular vet checkups to make sure I stay healthy!
