Today is a very special day: Pom Pom turns 15 today! It also marks the 9th year since the day we her home from the animal shelter in San Diego. In other words, this is the day of the most important day of my life!
Despite my terrible cold with its flu-like symptoms, I am determined to have a celebration worthy of the occasion. There will be lots of doggie treats, a yummy dinner, a cake for humans, and hopefully a doggie cake too (I’ve YET to find a doggie bakery in New Haven! Tragic). Pictures of the birthday girl with her many goodies will follow.

No luck finding anything resembling a doggie cake in this town…time to make my own! Muahahahaha!
