Pom Pom Is Officially Coughed Out

Rough weekend for Pom Pom–her chronic cough was flaring up bigtime, and she woke up in the middle of the night the last two nights hacking her brains out. Normally the steroid we give her (our vet says she’ll need her ‘roid pills for the rest of her life) keeps the cough at bay.

When there’s an increase in things like dander/allergens around the house or even increased humidity outside, she’ll sometimes have these horrific coughing attacks. Of course, we’re about to take her on a plane and fly cross-country to Oregon, so the timing couldn’t be better.

Time for this house-husband to vacuum every inch of this place and get all the pet blankets washed…also known as “Operation: Stop Pom Pom’s Coughing Attacks So The Humans Can Get a Good Night’s Sleep.”
