Want $4 Prescriptions For Your Dog? Go To Target!

I was really tempted to sit here this morning and type about how irritated I am at the Delta Airlines pilot for being over an hour late for our cross-country flight from NYC to Portland (we were already on the plane when they announced that the pilot was “stuck in traffic” in New York City), which led to our 15-year-old dog being stuck in her travel bag under our seat for a total seven hours (should have been under 6 hours), which led to her getting sick when we got to Oregon.

Nope, not gonna talk about that.

Instead, let’s focus on something cool that Cindy and I stumbled upon during our Oregon travels with a sick dog.

After yours truly forgot to pack the $30 antibiotics that we had gotten from the emergency vet while in Oregon, Cindy and I remember hearing that Target’s pharmacy was now filling prescriptions for pets…and most meds were only $4!

Luckily, there was a Target on the way to the Portland airport. We called the emergency vet, explained that we were sans-meds, and she called in a new prescription to Target.

Four bucks, baby. The same meds we spent over $30 on at the vet were four freaking dollars.

I urge you, fellow K9ers, to go to Target.com or stop by their pharmacy next time you’re out getting toilet paper, and get more info on which pet meds they have (they have quite a few!).

Vet bills are ridiculous enough. Save some moola on meds!!
