Wanna Know What a $600 Collar Looks Like?
By Dustin
It looks like this:
And what exactly does $600 for a collar get you, you ask?
Here’s a snippet from the folks at Chrome Canine, makers of this fancy fur-wrangler:
Chrome Canine medallion pieces are cast in pewter metal, hand polished, then electroplated first in copper to bond the next plated layer of nickel silver and then 14K gold. The gold is then polished off down to the nickel, of the medallion’s face, leaving gold in the recesses, sides and back. This gives us the two-tone finish. Then a light antique is hand applied and relieved to help show (or read) detail. Finally a clear coat protection is applied for better durability of the finish.
Hopefully financing is available?

Not the most appealing $600 collar…maybe it’s a preference thing.
