1. The typical evening at home (boy and girl at home): Pom MUST be on girl’s lap. Only water breaks are allowed. Pee breaks happen only when boy picks Pom up and carries her outside. Back to lap. All other animals must avoid lap, or growling may ensue. Frantically scratches at couch if girl is sitting on it without her.

2. Girl takes a four-day trip to Philadelphia: Pom calmly lays by boy, then promptly walks to the bedroom to go to sleep, with or without boy, at 11 p.m. Eats, pees and poops right on schedule.
