Pom Pom’s Doggie Tote Debut
After much effort and anticipation, I finally convinced Dustin that a doggie tote was necessary for me and Pom Pom. Turns out, my fantasy of being able to take Pom Pom with me everywhere is actually pretty practical, since Pom is getting up there in age and starting to have a hard time with being picked up and held for long periods of time.
It also helps that the bag is super cute and Pom Pom is ridiculously cute in it (even Dustin thinks so)! She lays down and sticks her head out through the little window and looks out while I carry her around.
My official word about doggie bags is that they’re not just for people with a Chi Chi in Southern Cali…they’re a necessitty for all owners of small dogs, even ones who live in Eugene, Oregon!

I actually think the bag looks cute in your pics! Don’t know why I didn’t think it was that cute in the store. haha good choice!
Bailey has had a Sherpa bag from the day I picked her up as a puppy. She was crate-trained, so she seems to look at her bag as an extension of her crate. She especially loves her bag when we visit the dogtor–it’s her safe place! Because she’s getting old–like Pom Pom–we also have a baby carriage where she can ride in style and not worry about her arthritis! Yes, people think I’m nuts when they see me walking my dog in a stroller. But it keeps Bailey comfortable, and allows her to go places with me that her age-related disabilities would keep her from.
Pom Pom looks great in her new bag!
Thanks! Bailey seems like she’s a prfect bag dog.
I work in a dog boutique and we sell dog strollers, so I don’t think a dog in a stroller is bizarre one bit…especially for reasons like arthritis!
Very cute! Unfortunately for me, Roxie isn’t really a fan of being carried around in a bag anymore. Maybe again someday.
