The Cost of Switching Dog Food

Another PSA: About a month ago, I thought it would be a great idea to switch up the dog food for Mr. Beary White, considering he had eaten the same chow for more than two years. Bad idea to do it within one day without weening. Here’s what happened… flow-chart style
Beary is fine now, but the moral of the story is ween before you switch your dog’s food… 1/3 new food, 2/3 old food and do that gradually till it’s 3/3 new dog food for about 1-2 weeks.

yup, yup, yup! Too bad for our beloved doggy to have those tiny, sharp needles and worse for us dog-owners to lose some cash especially in these difficult times, just to find out that switching back to old diet will do just fine. lol!
