While writing our recent review for the book Dirty Bow Wow: A Tribute to Dogs and the Objects of Their Affection, we stumbled upon a really cool and worthy cause inspired by the book.
The Dirty Bow Wow Toy Drive, which started at the beginning of May, is taking place at bookstores all across the country–donations are being accepted for new dog toys that will be given to shelter dogs. Hopefully the new toy will provide each shelter dog with some pleasure and comfort while they’re waiting for their new home.
