Dog Saves Kittens From House Fire

A Jack Russell terrier helped save four kittens from a house fire on Sunday in Melbourne, Australia.
Firefighters found Leo the terrier next to a box containing the kittens–despite the fire and smoke, the dog refused to leave the kittens.
As firefighters got the animals outside to safety, Leo continued to care for the kittens by trying to lick them clean.
Leo had to be revived with oxygen after being subjected to smoke inhalation, but has recovered fully.
All four kittens survived the fire as well.
